What We Do
Mental Health & Wellbeing
About this service
We run several one-to-one and group services to support the mental health and wellbeing of our service users.
In partnership with Nilaari, we deliver one-to-one wellbeing mentoring to anyone in need of ongoing, structured support. Our Wellbeing Coordinator, meanwhile, ensures that clients are internally referred to any other BSRC services they may need to support their wellbeing (e.g. help finding work, advocacy, help accessing debt advice).
Since 2024, our team has also included a Women and Family Engagement Worker and, as of August 2025, a further Wellbeing Worker, to meet the considerable demand for support in our community. These two staff members help to reduce structural inequalities in access to health and social care. They advocate and liaising with NHS services other relevant agencies, such as schools, social workers and supported accommodation providers, to ensure service users get the standard of care and support they deserve.
